When I come out of the vanity van in Khilji’s garb after two hours of make-up, I’m not that person anymore”. His role in Padmavat is not the only time Ranveer took up the challenge. For Bajirao Mastani, he went into 21-day isolation as a part of his preparation for the role. For Lootera he also hurt himself to enact the pain of having hit by a bullet.

 The ‘Bhagwan’ of all roles is often considered to be the best method actor working today in the industry. He seems to be able to flawlessly transition in between roles as if it is nothing to him. His most notable performances in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ and ‘Sacred games’ have set the tone for all future. In the above gangster drama movies and his method of acting seems to be the reason why. His more than original portrayals of each character is highly appreciated by the critics and rightfully so. Rajkummar Rao

Of course this list would be incomplete without the entry of this fine actor who rose to fame because of his sheer talent and hard work. He openly admits that for his role in ‘Omerta’, he spent an absurd amount of time watching disturbing content and videos to prepare for the role of Omar sheikh and in the process he became like him.
