A nation wide obsession, heartthrob and furthermore, the king of his own days. On this day, 9 years ago Rajesh Khanna left us for the heavenly abode, and left behind a legacy. It’s no old news that women of all ages were madly and truly in love with him. The heartthrob would steal innumerable hearts with just a smile, wink and the way he looked at the camera. The stories that women used to paint his white car in red with lipstick marks and would consider him the love of their lives aren’t false. When Rajesh Left us for his heavenly abode
Rajesh Khanna is also one of the stars who couldn’t run away from the grip of cancer. He was ill for a few years, and finally succumbed to death on 18 July 2012. Leaving his fans and family along with the industry devastated. We keep him alive in our hearts an hope that wherever he is, he is at peace.
